There's certainly a good number of superceded parts on our cars now, due to their age - and that can be confusing, with part numbers chnaging or being updated.

I haven't had any issues in all these years until recently. Even taking into account the latest and greatest part numbers superseding etc,.

Brake calipers (P/N between e83 3.0 and e53 3.0) - Different size calipers and hose mounting even though they do line up with the caliper bracket mounts.

Seat memory module (e83 to e53) - Everything is the same except the e83 doesn't have a tilt wheel function so that connector is totally missing

there was also something else I can't remember right now....

I haven't had any issues with Realoem, but I can say that some things are not always clear for certain parts diagrams or with numerous part numbers/options. I always call my local BMW dealer parts department if I need confirmation.

Don't trust it 100% to be correct.

I find "inconclusive" more than wrong, but grabbing a part N° from roem then duck search BMW N° almost always will result in success. It becomes pretty clear if it's the correct part
