Satnav constantly cycling on and off
 

I found a couple threads about this but don't see any real resolution. Is it normal for the DVD drive to constantly go on and off? Tried locking car and watched thru window and it still does it. Really bothers me!! Lol.

It's probably crapping out. Mine kept doing it until it drained the battery. Short term fix was to unplug it. Long term fix was to get a new DVD nav drive.
