More wet carpet questions

Hey guys, been lurking this site the past couple of years since owning my X5 and gotta say that this forum has been extremely helpful in resolving many issues. So much so that I never felt the need to register really, lol. But I finally did and I have question… does anybody have photos on the interior floor without the carpets? I couldn’t find anything on google images. Right now my rear carpet is wet where the middle hump is. Last time my truck was at the shop, I asked the guys to blow some compressed air into the drain lines but nothing came out. I’m gonna get some weed wacker line and push in there and see if that dislodges anything but I’m curious to see the layout without the carpet in place to hopefully see where it could be leaking from exactly. I’m not ready to remove everything to rip my own carpet out yet unless I knew for sure I’d be able to fix the issue right then and there. Thanks

Don’t have a pic but there should be one online.
If you have pano roof, the rear drains are easy to access from open rear hatch..maybe even with non pano roof

On the front drains, have you pulled the a-pillar trim on inside. I would wager $$ that one or both drain hoses are kinked

I would check all this before looking for other sources

Thanks for the responses. I should’ve been more clear and say it was the drains for the air conditioner although I did have leak from the sunroof drain which I fixed thanks to this forum. The rubber tube pulled out of the metal tubing and was leaking down the drivers side A pillar. I zipped tied it back in place, has been good ever since.

But with the a/c on, the rear carpet is getting wet. I had the center console out once and couldn’t see where the water could be coming from and why it’s only wetting the rear carpet if the drain tubes are up front :dunno:. Hopefully this trimmer line I got fixes the issue.
