P.A. Soft and disappearing ABS data
 

Hi there everyone!
Just cleared some codes after having an alternator replacement that kept putting the car in an Undervoltage state.
I noticed that on the first scan the ABS module showed up and had a few errors, which I expected. Then after clearing all the codes and resetting everything, I did another scan. On this second scan, P.A. Soft could not find any data on the ABS module!
Did something go wrong? Or is it normal for the ABS module to only show up on the list when it has uncleared error codes?

Did you drive it after clearing the codes? It may need driving data.

I did not think about that possibility, but I did only do a power cycle thinking that would be enough to bring any recurring codes back into the active working memory. I will give that a try later this evening.
