Problem with A/C
I have a BMW e53 3.0d 160kw and I have the following problem with A / C: When I press the A / C button it will not start the air conditioning compressor and fan when the engine is not at 90 degrees (at operating temperature) and until I give more gas once (over 3000 rpm ). Here is the reading from the inpa:

You have to determine is the AC clutch not engaging or do you have variable displacement compressor and it's stuck at low/no compression until you go to 3000.
Once it kicks on will it operate properly until key off? |
Once it starts and works until I turn off the car and it cools down a bit. example: the air conditioning works and I turn off the engine for 5 minutes and start again and it still works without problems because the engine has not cooled down

but if it stays off for about 15 minutes or more then it won't work and I have to repeat the above (gas over 3000rpm and the engine has to be hot)

Does INPA show any errors in the IHKA unit?

Don't keep us in suspense. What's the error?

Aux heater disconnection?
Can you monitor the compressor status? To confirm if the compressor clutch is being engaged when you press the snowflake? |
No, what could be the problem with it, the heater maybe?
When I get home I'll try to find it all in INPA Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
