Coding in DFW Area

Hello Brother X-men.

I’m working with a used ABS Module. I need to get
it coded to my vehicle. I have reached out to a few shops in the area.
No one has responded with a yes.
Looking for someone or some shop to get this X5 dash lights out.
It’s been not registered for 6 months due to this Trifecta.

Not expecting any free services. Just want this trifecta over with.

Curious why you can't get it registered? I've had multiple vehicles inspected/registered in Texas with the ABS light on. It isn't a requirement to pass inspection.

Red brake light…. Big No-Go

Plus, I can’t stand dash lights.

The one I hear about the most is Cedar Performance.

If they don't do the kind of coding you need my guess they can steer you in the right direction.

There are some coders that can do this over the internet but I do not know how it is done and what kind of computer you need. In person it is literally a 10-15 minute job.

If all else fails: Try German Motor Werks in Wichita, KS, they should be able to do the VIN rewrite and calibrate the DSC, call Jonny. People ship cars there from the oddest corners of the US just to be sure it gets done right. Long way from where you are but he does excellent work on his YouTube channel. Dealers won't touch the VIN rewrite and local specialists can at times be even more prima-donna-like than the official BMW folks.

There's a German Motor Werks in Cibolo. It's in the San Antonio metro. Are the German Motor Werks all related?

I can’t win.
The Bosch 5.7 module has gone thru Module Masters.
They say that the module is coded 23.
That means nothing to most people. The lady
Said that code 23 is MANUAL TRANSMISSION.

I’m fairly sure this ain’t gonna work.
Might be wrong, but I guess I can flush more
Money down the drain.

I’m beginning to hate this X5

Ok one thing I luckily never had to touch on either E39 or E53 is the ABS module.
That being said, are we talking about coding the zcs?
It can be done with NCS expert.
If that's what you mean, it's not that hard.
Get NCS Expert, INPA and Bmwscanner installed and working on your computer.
Let's start by reading your ABS's ZCS code.
I'm not sure if it stores VIN as well and maybe VIN needs to be adjusted as well.
But even before that, you should scan your car for errors with bmwscanner to see what errors there are.
Normally whoever rebuilt or fixed your ABS module should be able to set you up so that everything works properly.
Maybe your lights are not even related to ABS.
You should provide some history to your problem.
