Auxillary Power adapter

Is it the same size as a standard adapter?? Do I have it use only the aux power adapter for the flashlight input in the glove box or can I use my IPOD adapter. Please Comment

Are you aware there is a power port on the passenger side foot well, up in the upper left corner?
