Nice.

That is basically what I did guys. Laptop on the passenger seat while I was on the highway. Glanced back and forth at my laptop and LF wheel speed was again pegged at 0. All 3 other wheels read correct.

Have not pulled out the sensor yet as its snowing and cold in NYC... also... superbowl and beers... cheers!

By the way you're describing the bearing it sounds like an SKF with the steel shield on the opposite side of the rubber covered tone ring ?? I have an SKF bearing that I haven't installed yet but noticed that the magnetism on the tone ring is huge compared to the original or the new fake FAG bearing that I have. Hopefully it's not the extra magnetism causing issues.

Glad it's sorted... well done.

And it was the only thing that made sense, 'tis all. If you removed the bearing and didn't removed the sensor, there was only ever going to be one answer! ;)

I don't know about Meyle, but I trust VDO and Bremi for wheel sensor.

he said it was an FAG in the first post

"I used a FAG bearing purchased from someone who says he bought the part from FCPeuro."
