Any chance you have held the button down for 3 seconds and shut them all off? ;)

I did try the 3-second hold. Did not solve my issue unfortunately.

Pin 7 is a triggering grounding switch. When you press the button pin 7 is grounded as long as you press the button. With shorter presses on/off and longer over 3 s press disables the interior light until it's switched on again.

Interior lighting and load cut-out
The interior lighting is controlled by following switches and systems:
• Button at front of central light unit
• Door contacts
• Terminal R and terminal 58 (parking light)
• Central locking
• Remote control lock system
• Airbag control unit

Thank you, that helps.
I think what I will do is:
(1) Verify at the GM connector x332-pin 2 that it has continuity to ground when the dome light button is pressed.
(2) Verify at the GM connector x10460 pin 2 it has + power when any of the conditions are set (like door open).
My guess is +power is not being sent from the GM to pin 8 at the dome light. This seems the most logical since none of the interior lights work either. If I just focus on the dome light, I figure the interior lights will follow. Where I will be completely lost is how to determine if the GM is bad or some other trigger to the GM is not working.
