They are not willing to do anything for me or reimburse me for any expenses incurred on my part. I have told them to ship back my lights, and they haven't even got around to doing that yet...

you can ask them to pay for your rental all you want, they won't and they don't have to either. i go to small claims all the time, i think your only remedy is to ask for your lights back and have a written demand sent to them. i'm not sure what it is they are doing with your lights, whether they fucked them up and are stalling you, or whether they are trying to make you buy their shit, but if you make that simple request and they dont send your lights back, you are entitled to go buy new lights and in front of a judge, they will have to pay for those lights. on the other hand, this mite be a lenghty process to collect...dude everyone here feels your pain, good luck with the resolution of your problem.
