RealOEM has all three listed. Which part number do I use? Brand? The right side one is out. It's cool that the module turns on fog lamps to compensate for it being out.

I use Osram Nightbreakers or Osram "Original Xenarc" bulbs from Powerbulbs.

If you need a spare to get you "lit" for now while you wait for bulbs to come in... I'm sure I have a spare D2S bulb you can have. Let me check.

In two storage bins, I have a set of HID adaptive headlights from TheFixer. I was going to pull those two bulbs for installation. The set of headlights will be refreshed and clear coated. The night breakers will look great in that set. The bulb set should work so I'm not blinding Austin drivers with only one headlight. If you have one, I might take you up on it. Since the right side easy to install, one bulb will do for now. :thumbup:

FWIW, HID bulbs lose brightness over time. Installing a used bulb temporarily until you swap fixtures makes sense, but unless you know that they are very low hour, you're likely losing a LOT of brightness.

Osram Nightbreakers are a good choice but my personal preference is Philips X-tremeVision gen2.

I think that it's worth noting that the benefit vs. the cost of the really high end bulbs is fairly limited. Is it really worth spending over $200 for a pair of Osram Nightbreakers vs. say the Morimoto XB35s for about $60? I don't really think so.

(I'd argue that the money is better spent on a projector upgrade, as an example.)

Yes. The light output goes down about 50% in 100 tkm. (Of course this varies more on hours and ignition circles.)

Others are right, bulbs will lose brightness... but LOL 50% of a bulb is 100% more light than you're outputting now. It's only a temp thing guys. :D

As for Nightbreakers not being worth the money... everyone has their opinions. I'd agree better projectors would be best, but I noticed a difference when going from old tired bulbs to nightbreakers. Now comparing old OE vs. new "premium" bulbs might not be apples to apples, but it gave me the warm fuzzies. :bustingup
