Missing parts??

I am getting my 4.6 back up and running after head replacement. Bought this as a non runner and slowly getting things back to where they should be. Can anyone help me figure out what goes into those rusty holes on either side of the fan? Have looked on RealOEM and google image search, but can't find anything. Thoughts? Pics?

On a 3.0i, bumper ears are bolted there. Plus a plastic air diverter. On yours, an air diverter of some kind is missing.
