X5 E53 N62 Pop in front end on slow turn
 

My X5 has a popping sound on slow turns sometimes. Its not getting worse but is is there and not always repeatable. It happens on slow left or right turns. If I had to guess I think its with the shock assembly but want to be sure before I start changing parts. I replaced all the bushings front and rear in the car last summer and fixed a lot of other issues. Any advice on pinpointing the issue would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Mine did a similar thing a while back. Turned out to be the front chassis bolts were not tight enough after I had put some new engine mounts in..

Check the torque on the front tension strut bushings. I had a pop on my suspension after replacing everything except these tension struts, and it turned out that one bolt wasn't fully torqued. Ensure the suspension is loaded when you torque any bushings.
