Combustion Fail when warm - 2006 E53 4.4i
 

Excellent Day everyone,
has anyone ever heard of the error: Combustion Fail when warm???:dunno:

my X5 is 2006 E53 4.4i. once it warms up, all is well. but I see this error in INPA, and car runs well but seems to have increased fuel consumption.
i have searched the internet and found nothing with this description

all help is appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. Suspect bad plugs or dirty fuel injectors.
What kind of maintenance has been done on it?
How many miles are on it?

apologies on that... car has 155,000 km (96,000 miles). I have had it for one year. I had an e39 for the last 7 years! maintenance has been regular, but plugs are due for changing in another month, and injectors have just been cleaned

"combustion fail" sounds like a translation of "misfire". ;)
