Canbus box with android head unit issue
 

Hi all
I replaced my older Avin Avant 2 radio with a newer Android 10 unit. It is an ekiy T7 radio with 8gig ram running android 10. It came with a canbus box for the steering wheel controls. When I plug the canbus box it works fine but whenever I turn the car off and come back the canbus box isn't working. The steering wheel controls don't function. The only way I can get it working is to unplug the canbus box and plug it back in then it starts work again. My previous avin unit had a canbus box and it worked fine for years. Any ideas on why the new one requires a reset after the car is turned off?
