N62TU fuel pressure schraeder valve location and size
 

Hi All,

Tracking down code 2B71 on an N62TU engine. Based on this thread, it could be fuel pressure. Is this the correct location of the schraeder valve? It's leaked out fuel, but wanted to confirm. I bought and used this kit off Amazon, but no adaptor seemed to be the correct small size. I'm looking at purchasing this fuel pressure tester from FCP.

yes, Standard FP Schrader size.

Brah. :D It's under the engine covers. Granted I missed the interior air filter panel last detail, and I just had water pump and expansion tank done.. I'm also gun shy: Once I cleaned, and hosed down the engine bay, then went for a long drive for vacation. Got stranded on the way back, when cluster lit up like a christmas tree. Shop found tons of dirt and grease all up in the alternator. Seems I knocked all the gunk in there, since I hadn't covered it up. So super cautious now. I do hate when shops don't clean up, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
