Good evening all, I’m needing to replace both side mirrors. I tried the rebuilding motor thing, but it just didn’t work for me. I’m looking to buy used or new, but I’m having trouble figuring out which mirror specs I have. Not sure what packages I have on this ‘06 e53. It’s got most of the stuff for winter comfort. Heated seats and steering wheel. It has headlight washers. I know the mirrors have heat, they fold, not sure about auto dimming and I think they auto dip. Not sure about that last one. Really don’t care if I have it in the future to be honest. I mostly want to buy the correct mirror to fold and heat. Do all folding mirrors have heat? What clues can I look for to let me know if I have auto dip and auto dimming? Are there sensors that will give me a clue?
