Dab aerial options
 

So I'm looking to add a dab dongle to my android head unit but i don't seem to be able to get a good signal by using the stick to the window type aerial i have since purchased a fin style aerial which will mean drilling the roof so before i go down this route id thought id ask you good folks your opinions on dab aerials.

Have you made sure that you have installed the windscreen DAB antenna properly? Problems arise when you don't get a good earth, you need to ensure you are touching metal at the side of the windscreen, not the paint.

Personally DAB is not worth drilling a hole in the roof, not something I would ever do.

Yes im not really keen to drill a hole but this aerial is a 4 in 1 so it does dab , gps , wifi and fm so covers all bases , i have been given another glass dab aerial so might give that a go first.
