Facelift A/C desiccant
So I was going to replace the desiccant bag in the condenser of my 2004 E53 W/auto air and found that the desiccant is loose in the condenser tube and the top plug which is the outlet for the condenser has a slotted plastic tube much like what is used in a water softener to keep the resin from going through. No cloth bag to disintegrate and let the desiccant through the system and turn the compressor into a coffee grinder! I'm not sure if this started with the facelift but pretty good idea! :)
