TV Module Issue
 

Hi guys (and girls), first time poster here. However i have used this forum many times to solve issues.
I am hoping that one of you can provide assistance.

I recently had my 04 X5 at the stealership for gearbox service, and software update, to try and cure the common 'rear end shunt' when accelerating.
I am pleased to report that it has been cured, and car drives fantastic now, i can now go near the accelerator without it feeling like i have been rear ended by an articulated vehicle.
This repair has left me with a niggling issue that the stealership want another £500 to diagnose.
Since the software update (which i assumed was just for the gearbox) my TV has developed a fault, in that the screen continuously scrolls, and i cannot get it to reset. I have tried disconnecting battery for 30mins, and have removed and reinserted tv module to no effect.
I appear to have the pibus upgrade installed, with usb, judging from menu. Which was working brilliantly, nice clear reception, which i am still getting, however the image scrolls. This does not effect the centre console, as menu is still clear as a bell, along with sat nav. It is only the TV that seems effected.
If i have read forum correctly, the software i have SW 4-1/01 is a modified version? BMW would not install this version?
Anyway, here is hoping one of you, who know a lot more than me about this can help.
