Cool! I get a reservoir if replacing the clamps doesn't fix it.
Any recommended brands for the reservoir and premium power steering fluid? I saw Pelican Parts has Rein for the former. I just checked and FCP Euro has it too with high ratings. |
After thinking about the ATF on the reservoir: Wouldn't accelerating and braking cause the liquid in the reservoir to slosh and hit the cap? I don't do too much aggressive driving, but that's not never!
I see some people have had success just replacing the o-ring: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AWXRW3M/ I think I'll clean up the outside of the reservoir and hoses with degreaser and try the cap o-ring first. Also this Liquid Moly leak sealing product has some good reviews on FCP Euro and Amazon: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/pow...-20284#reviews Thoughts? |
I replaced the o-riing today. It seems to seal better now. I'll update the thread if that hasn't fixed the problem. Thanks, X5chemist, for suggesting it could be the o-ring, a potential $4 fix!
