Hello not taken it out yet but was wondering if any of you know what the size of the grommets are? seen some online but not sure they will do..

The washer pump grommets are available from BMW and are a common problem. You could try putting a bit of heat shrink tubing around the pump stem to get a better fit.

I recently replaced both of the smaller grommets to fix a leak but it turns out the leak was actually one of the pumps - the seals inside the pump fail. I had to replace the pump to fix the leak.

I had one pump leaking and decided to do both while I was in there. Not too expensive from FCP Euro for two. I don't have the headlight washers/CWP.

I got a Febi Bilstein pump and two new gromets for about NZD$70. The grommets I got are aftermarket but good quality.

FYI, BMW OE grommets are #61667006063

Yeah, well tariffs aside, the VDO unit is NZD$75 here - that's USD$44 - 3.5 time more!

I guess that's the cost of living in a galaxy far, far away.... :D

omodos will have the same issue...

hmmm sure but the air filter is a pig to get off the 3.0D alas, but thanks for all input, seems need to source the pumps too in case its not just the grommets, not sure how visible a leak of the actual pump is whilst the tank is in car....for sure i can feel fluid under tank directly below where the 2 (front windscreen/rear windscreen) washers are....but hard to tell if it is grommet....okays thanks

Check the pumps down the back of the tank with a flashlight - if any part of the pump is wet, it's the pump. If the pumps are dry, it's the grommets.
