I didn't realize that an app could inject control signals into the I-BUS to enhance/add new functionalities to a control module that the vehicle manufacturer did not already create. I thought the features already existed in the module and the app was simply toggling them on/off. That now explains why the I-bus app has to be running in order for the new features to work. That also explains why even NCS Expert or ISTA cannot add a feature that did not already exist in the module. Wow, the I-BUS app really is something :thumbup:.

IBUS app and Resler module is how I did mine. Unlocks when put in park. Mirrors automatically fold when ignition turned off. All doors lock above 10 mph. Angel eyes and fog lets set as DLR. And emergency braking indicator - rear flashers come on with sudden heavy braking. To hopefully wake up the driver behind. It will do a bunch of other light programming that was a little to "kiddy car" for my taste. Overall a nice app to have on my Avin head unit.
