Supposedly brand new ZF S5D manual transmissions on eBay

I was surprised to see that supposedly new 5-speed transmissions are for sale on eBay shipping from Germany. Freight is brutal but total cost seems surprisingly reasonable (around $3k).

My buddy has an E46 M3 and his 6-speed manual transmission failed on him, so he just bought a brand new one for the low low price of about $10,500... so this is a great deal
