If you google VEM-V20991274, this BMW on line site sells it.

I have two spare tanks in my garage. It's hot here. If one blows up or cracks, I can replace it quickly. I kept the clutch fan to help it run cooler. With the water pump posted, mine runs at ~194F running around town.

Just wondering if anyone has done this: vinegar + distilled water. Run it for 30 min bc vinegar cleans up mineral deposit well.

Then drain, refill with distilled water. Repeat a few cycles then add distilled water + coolant for the final fill?

I've done a variant of this, citric acid flushes. I dont remember doing it on any BMW's yet though, more on Mercedes (it's a factory procedure to at least the 90's).

When I worked at the radiator shop we would use Arm & Hammer washing soda and water, then flush with clean water.
