Unusual start up abnormaliti
 

On my2003 4.6 V8 engine. Sometimes it will crank, rev up then drop down.
But every once in a while, it will drop down so low that it stalls out.
Starts right up after that. Seems to happen when temps are lower. No check engine, no codes.
Any ideas?

I'll suggest the investigation of the car battery...how old is it? And have you ever put it on the charger?

Sounds like extra air entering the TB. Tighten up the intake hose clamps and check for cracks.

Update

Found a broken off nipple on the intake tube. After the MAF.
Unmetered air BAD! Good call guys.
