Ha... Karma. My rich trim codes came back too... After 4000 miles. Basically both banks -9 percent. Too funny. I doubt both new o2 sensors went bad. Oh well.

Most rich trims are caused by oxygen sensors, high fuel pressure, or a dirty air filters. Maybe old injectors are an issue? Trim limits at -9 are almost passing. What are the short fuel trims?

Oxygen sensors are not that often the problem, even as they get older they get slower which "on average" doesn't change the overall mixture that much. If they get poisoned or damaged for some reason like what happened to Mestah big then different story. That being said it's worth a try to replace them but more so after you checked as much as you can and not expecting them to be a magic answer. I'm not a fan of this thread either but it has more to do with Andrewwynn's bullshit volcano.

The karma part is I gave SaltyB shit for taking months to swap two upstream O2 sensors. I was done clicking on the thread. This website is so irritating on my Android with the damn ads. And it was annoying that SaltyB like going to rent a car lift, etc etc. anyway. Jokes on me, cars fucked up after all my other work. I wonder if it's going to stall again.

There might very well be some oil additive, sealer/silicon exposed to the crankcase that has poisoned your O2 sensors again. Or knock off sensors.

*cackle* karma, she is a bitch.
Srsly, I am renting the lift to do a number of things besides O2 sensors. I have no other means of getting under this thing. I don't have a garage or other workspace. Not everyone has a nice big house and garage. I live in a medium-crappy apartment building in an urban setting so my options are limited. Calm your tits. |

He was being conciliatory, you two play nice or I'll turn this thread around and go home. [emoji1787] Sent from Embassy network using Tapatalk |
Ha. I'll take the over on Salty renting a lift before year end 2026!!!
I never put any additive into the car and I've owned and worked on it since 2006. Prev owner was in my family. Just so weird that both banks are reading the same bad values. |
Measure fuel pressure? MAF reading/cleaning and lastly, injector cleaning. The ECU didn't know the fuel pressure it assumes 50psi and does math from there. High psi, sticky injectors or misreading MAF are all systemic issues that can cause rich condition.
