Need more advice.
 

Just agreed sale on 3.0d sport 2001 model and hoping to pick car a week today.

Anyone know if these cars come with rain sensor and self dipping rear view mirror as standard?

Also what mpg could I expect to get? I hear the diesel isn't as good on fuel as BMW make out!

BMW Australia claims you will get 1300 kms on a tankful (93 litres). That is with a manual on highways only. With normal driving I get about 950 kms which is a little bit more than 30 mpg. Don't have a sport - but ours does not have the sensors or s/d mirror.
