x5 xenon ??
 

im going 2 do a facelift on a 2001 x5 with xenons and put 2005 lights in wot do u need

basically 2 new headlight units with fixing brackets

but do i need new ballasts or will the earlier model 1s work
also the plug is different on the back pls help

i have all the other parts hood fenders bumper ect its just the lights im not electrical minded

Do a search here and on other boards. Don't forget the x5World DIY section. The wiring plug is different because of the bi-xenon/adaptive lights. I have a diagram of the later plug wiring somewhere on my 6 harddrives. Give me your email address and I'll look it up and send it. I also have the full wiring manual on CD!
The ballast should be the same as it does exactly the same job.
