Delivery
Does anyone know how long it takes from the time I order an X5 to time of Delivery from the factory, and does anyone have any idea where online I can find the 2005 owner's manual.

Last Monday (4/11/05) I picked up my new 2005 4.4i. It took four weeks to get to preparation center and another five days to get to my dealer in MN. Therefore, total time from date of order was five weeks.

12 months plus is the norm for the diesel as they are the most popular engine
due to fuel costs,if you want a petrol and their arent many on the road its around 6 months delivery plus, with my local dealer if i was prepared to drive to the other end of the country i could of ordered one with a delivery of 9 months. it also is down to car alocation numbers to the dealers the only advantage is the residuals stay very high, my friend was offered £2000 more than he payed for a 1 month old car by the dealer he ordered the car from 3 year old cars with sensible milage and the right spec are only loosing about £10,000 |

The US guys have got it made (I am an American living in Hungary). The 3.0D rocks, but over here it cost me about $110K, whereas they cost tops what $60K? Of course mine is fully loaded with EVERYTHING. But you will be angry when I tell you I got mine in a month. Luck of the allocation. Still It is worth every penny |
