Will CPO cover this?

About 5-7 of the tiny lights that make up my trip odometer won't light up...will this be covered under CPO? It's an '02 X5 4.4i with 15K miles on it.

I don't see why it wouldn't be.

Well, it's four years old, so the factory warentee has expired (if I read my documents correctly). I just bought it today...previous owner bought it with 8K on the ticker and he got the CPO 72months/100K warantee. He was transfering overseas and I got a sweat deal!

Yes, it's legit. Carfax in hand. The car was ordered by a diplomat here in Houston. He drove it from his condo to his office, apparantly a short commute. The next owner bought it last March with 8,299 miles on it. It has the BMW CPO 72months/100K warrantee, interior warrantee, exterior warrantee, rims/tire warrantee and Lo Jack. He and his wife planned to keep it forever, however, he's in the oil industry and got transferred to Australia. His wife is still here trying to sell the house and then she leaves as well.

Three's no doubt in my mind the mileage is legit. The brake pedal, gas pedal, interior, tires, undercarriage, windshield, paint, etc. all look brand spanking new. I inspected the car thoroughly and did my homework. There isn't a single flaw inside or out.

I'd like to feel good about my purchase, being I search for almost a year for just the right car...

covered mine under warranty when I needed them fixed, I would assume CPO is the same.
