X5 is cooler than I thought
 

Ok, so I was waiting at the light and it was sleeting. (Im not sure if thats right :) Anyway, this guy comes behind me and stops and turns his flashers on. So im like wtf? He gets out and goes near the driver window, and hes like "Im really sorry, but my wheels didnt have nough traction" So im like wtf, I got out(after pulling over) and saw nothing, no paint scratrched or anything. Hes like, "I guess I just hit your license plate softly". I felt no impact, when this happend me a while ago in my van,. it was hit at 5mph, but I felt it hard. In the X, i didnt feel anything. He was a nice guy, Im like ok, we dont want more charges, so we settled it there, I got $300 for any Possible paint work. Ill go to a free repar center to see if there is really any paint harmed, or else Ill return the money.

Very nice guy and very nice of you to be willing to return the money if there is no damage. As others might tell you, have the shocks under the bumper cover checked to make sure there wasn't any compression or anything put out of kilter.

I'm an x-08817 - that guy had to be from somewhere else - I've learned always to carry a camera - I will admit there are a few nice drivers in NJ - I was one of them, but when I left the % of nice drivers dropped 10%.
