Part Price.
 

Hi,
Hope someone can clarify something for me.
Just called my local dealer and they told me that Part No. 51157062601 which is #4 on the following diagram http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...22&hg=51&fg=15

They quoted me over $400 and I think that is just way too much for it, just because on the diagram it suggests it for $265. :dunno:
Has anyone order it and how much was the actual price.
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Why don't you try calling aroundd some of the dealers who have ads on the boards and see how their prices compare?

Pacific BMW. Criever (sp?) Try a web search but those two are usually quoted as cheapest.

If you are a member of BMWCCA, most dealers will extend a 10% discount on parts.....some dealers as high as 20%

I've had better pricing from indys even with discount. It pays to shop around.

Norman I pay mine for $175 prime call BMW concord in California name Barry Julaton Tel # 925-2883899.Just pay for shipping you still save $150.

This part your referring to is the addition on the rear bumper which can be found on a 4.6 or 4.8. YOu need to paint it. The dealership might have quoted you for that piece and the two side covers that are needed to cover the hardware holding the bumper on.
