I guess this is the 2-door X-based off roader Roundel mag is reffering to in Feb issue. :dunno:

Yah that is a Z4......and how would you take a 3/5 series platform...make it an X series and then take the X and make a coupe?? Why not just make a 4 series or modify the 3...

Either way, I haven't heard of any X'coupes in BMW Magazine from BMW. :dunno:
