Oil Light
 

occasionally in between oil changes i notice that my oil symbol comes on after i turn the X off and sometimes it is red where it says it is dangerous to drive...i check the dipstick and notice i am very low on oil so i fill it up with the mobil synthetic and im good until the oil change...

anyone experience this...suggestions?? should i be worried??

If the oil light comes on, you have dangerously low oil pressure. Driving with it on will more than likely result in damage.

jees that dont sound good...hasnt come on in quite some time since i added oil...if it comes on again i bring it str8 to stlr

It hasn't come on since you added oil because there's enough oil now to have required oil pressure. Just check your oil every time you fill gas. No need to go to the dealer.....just don't let it happen.

Is this the oil LEVEL light or the oil pressure light? If it's the level light then you need to start checking your oil on a regular basis. Oil usage has been reported by many on the boards.
The oil pressure light coming on is BAD!
