Keep in mind that the perception of speed is different when sitting 5-plus feet up--if I go from my X to our 3, the 3 "feels" much quicker at first...maybe due to being that much closer to the ground?

Road noise makes a difference, too. In a noisy car, it sounds faster.

all well documented. BMW and Porsche and Ferrari's are notoriously optimistist. These are all as measured on certified GPS and have been documented by all magazines. Both Euro and US publications.

100 feels like nothing in my X5. But 150 feels like nothing in my M5.
Its crazy how effertlessly you get up to triple digits in any bmw so effortlessly
