I'm with you. The cab height of the X just doesn't look good from profile views when lowered or with really low profile tires all around.

thank you for your input, it's just for my own personal taste. that's how i like my x. i know for a fact i wont go offroad or haul anything with it. (got a toyota tundra for that). i just love the lower look of an x5 or a matter fact any sport type vehicle.

Many do it to close those ungainly fender gaps, especially when you're running 20" or larger wheels. Purely esthetic.

But there's a limit for how low you can go. Beyond that limit the X kinda looks weird.

Agreed. Lowering it too much basically turns the X back into a slammed wagon. If that's the case, why not just get a 5-series touring wagon instead?
