Signal when locking and unlocking the door
 

Is there any signal when you guys locking your x5? For example, the turning indicator flashes once when locking the door and flashes twice when unlocking the door.

My X5 does not flash when locking the door but flashes twice when unlocking the door. Is it normal, if not, can someone tell me how to make it flash once when locking the door?

This is something the dealer can program.

That is with your key configuration. The dealer will do it.

thanks! i know that it is something can be configurated by the key, does anyone know how to configurate it with the key?

As was said, you have to get it done by the dealer. Unlike some other cars, this is not user-programable.

At least not until the new X come out. The key program features are supposed to be accessable to the owner/ driver and will not require visiting the dealer every time you want to change it.

Not out yet! It's supposed to be a feature on the NEW, yet to be released X5. Until then you have to go to the dealer.
