Hi again, Is it telling you not to take out the screws inside the arch,??.
|
Rears are a sinch, just remove the one screw in the wheel well where the mudflaps line up,put the flap on and the screw back in.Then line it up and drill all the holes. You need a mini ratchet.
Everytime you do a mod ,everyone wants to see pics.Just didn't get a chance yet. |
Instead of the glue, I used some clear silicone adhesive to assist the screws, and help the flaps adhere closely to the curve of the wheel well.
I am very pleased with the flaps. Excellent, and easy mod. |
Just finished the mud flap install, as you said very easy took about 1 1/2 total and I did take off the rear wheels just to make life a bit easier, I think it was worth it, but as you said you can get around it.Fronts a doddle just turn the wheel both ways. Was a bit hairy drilling the 8mm hole , quite difficult because the curve of the fender above means that the drill is on an angle, have to hang on tight and make sure the drill bit doesnt wander.
I will take some pics in the morning when it is daylight. :) :) |
Probably was worth taking the wheels off.Took me a bit over two hours to do the install.Want to see some pics,I love them on mine.Gonna take some pics today.Glad the install went well and hope I was of help.

Thank you

Wow, they are alittle large for my taste. But they do have a nice fit!
|
Does anyone have the BMW ASAP instructions for the front as well? This set for the rear is perfect since I didn't get a copy with mine.
