just got my x5!
 

hey everyone,

this is my first post here and i'm stoked. i just picked up my first bimmer a few days ago (my other car is a boxster s). it's actually a used 2004 my friend sold me at the dealer trade-in (he just upgraded to a 4.8). it's a 2004 4.4 sterling gray metallic w/black leather, fully loaded w/everything except the cold weather package. it also came w/ new 20" oz canyon wheels w/pirelli p zeros. it's currently in my garage w/ a total of 11,076 miles on it and it's killing me that i can't drive it cuz i haven't been able to register it yet! to make matters worse, i'm travelling on business for the next two weeks! anyway, while i'm packing for my trip, thought i'd say hello.

Congrats and welcome! You've got to post some pics of those OZ wheels. I've seen them on Tire Rack but never actual pictures on an X5.

Congrats on getting the X! You'll love her. It's funny, your 2004 has more miles than my 2002 does. :)

I have some pics of Jon's old X5 from bimmerforums, he had 20" Oz Canyon's on his 3.0i, but can't seem to find them.

Congrats Qwetzee!! Those 20" OZ Canyon rims look sweet, matching the Sterling Grey really well. I almost got a set of 18" Canyon for my winter set up.
