door actuator problem
 

Hi,

I'm having a problem with the door actuator and try to find out where's it located. Can someone help me to point out this part under the picture below?
Any advice on replacing the part? Thanks

Follow the door lock button down. (Top right of picture.) The thing with wires hanging out of it would be you actuator.

Do you think I can unplug and replace the actuator at this picture or I still need to remove something to access the actuator?
Do you think I will need to remove the air bag module similar to the picture in order by replace the actuator?

Yes, I think it's #1. do you know why there's a core charge to the part?

I don't know. I had mine replaced under warranty, so I burned a couple of Boros, read Car& Driver, drank a Mountain Dew and twiddled my thumbs while the actuator was being removed and replaced.

I got that diagram from www.realoem.com. I searched for it based on my vehicle, my year, engine, build date, etc. They may be different parts for different years, so try to search for it using your build date, etc at that site to make sure it's the same p/n.

I believe the airbag must come out if only for safety. You need to disconnect the battery and let the thing sit for .5 hour to do that. Be careful!
