Interior Trim

Looking for a new interior trim. My 3.0 has this hideous disgusting light wood. Is it possible to purchase the 4.8 titanium interior? Or even a darker wood interior...anyone know where to buy it online?

Thanks

Crevier BMW, Circle BMW and Pacific BMW are all popular on-line sites that offer good discounts. You could also watch eBay, as various trim packages show up from time to time.

Note that the majority of the trim pieces just pop off and on. The notable exceptions are the console (complete console needs to be removed to change the trim) and the steering wheel trim (air bag must be removed)

King had a set of dark wood for sale. Send him a private message.

Here you go. Just had to relist it due to a non paying bidder!

Thanks everyone!

King...how easy is it to install the kit myself? Do the parts just pop off? And my 2002 3.0 has very little options...I'm not sure if all of the openings will accomodate for my interior? Let me take a look at your pictures at home and check the car first.

Thanks

The kit Arvi (King) has is the complete set, including the cover for the in-dash CD. The interior trim pieces are the same on all models, with the exception that the nav trim doesn't require the cd unit cover. As stated above, the majority of the trim pieces just pop off and on. The notable exceptions are the console (complete console needs to be removed to change the trim) and the steering wheel trim (air bag must be removed).

See http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...ticle&artid=51 for info on removing the console.

If you don't have the Sport package then you don't have to worry about the steering wheel trim, as the non-sport steering wheel doesn't have the wood trim.

The kit is guaranteed to fit. As UCrew stated, all models have the same trim panels whether it's dark wood, light wood etc. I have the BMW step by step instructions for removing & installing the trim & center console if you need them...
