How much should I pay for Sirrius install on OEM Nav ?

I see the links in the directory on the home page but no mention of the cost of install. Anyone add this to an 04-05 OEM nav radio on there x5?

I'm still thinking about installing sirius too. I have this guy who installed my icelink...he says sirius installation will be $350. their website: http://www.gofte.com/ipodinstall.htm

Are you asking about the total package, or just the installation fee alone? I can tell you the installation itself is really easy. I did my XM installation in about 90 minutes, without even knowing exactly what I was doing. I suspect someone that has done it before could do it in less than half that time.

Statdoc you did it yourself? I wish I knew about car electronics! You installed it with an OEM Nav radio ?

i had it fitted when i bought the X new and i think it was more like $800+ that was 2004 and watching them IT WAS NOT EASY.

The install is a piece of cake. The BMW kit comes with instructions...Take out the spare tire, mount the Sirius unit in the tire well, plug the Sirius unit into the CD changer cable (or use a "Y" cable if you have a CD changer), install the antenna, and that's it. I mounted the Sirius antenna in the spoiler, so it took about an hour more than a normal install.
