new shoes test ... and question

just a quick photochop i did to test out these rims; 269 ea. from tirerack. you like? also ... why does tirerack say that the rim sizes are 20x9 up front and 20x10.5 in the rear while wrapping them in 295 tires ALL AROUND?! that doesn't make sense to me... can these cars really accomodate 295 up front too?!

That looks good. If you are getting them, make sure you get the proper tire size from them.

soemone here, i think, has 315's on
all 4 corners.

cant imagin what 315 on the front would be like i know the guy has them but no way would i want to do that even 275's follow the ruts in the road 295's would be the max you should go IMO the 4.8is has 275/40r/20 and 315/35r/20 dont go to big at the front

I'd go smaller front vs. rear, too...

ASA is owned by BBS...I have a set
of "whites" on theCEO's pos Fridge/CR-V.
Pretty good wheels and T Rack had
a fire sale on them, when I purchased the
set.

Wheels, standard Cast alloy, 20 x 9.5 front, 20 x 10.5 rear

Tires, standard 275/40R-20 front performance
315/35R-20 rear performance

they are nice but honestly i think theres too much going on in them. idk my opinion thats what this board is for..

motordavid 03-28-2006 06:37 PM

Well, I'm a black wheel fan from the back row and
I like them. I think the wide lip is polishable and
keep-cleanable and the nice powercoat on the
"spokes" will resist a lot of crap, won't show
brake dust/road grime, etc.

I think they look very good on a Black or drk Blue
X.

The wider rear tars vs. the fronts, look good, too.
