sorry for the late response...very busy with school...I have a video clip on google video..

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...23524&q=bmw+x5

Video is with exhaust and intake....I just removed the resonators 2 months
ago and absolutely love it...will have to make a new video to compare!

Concerning the price..I bought it used from someone on this site so I got a rediculous deal...both pipes for $700. There is nothing I dislike about this exhaust, I have the 3.0i, and it made it sound so much better, nice and deep rumble when you start it up cold, then quiets down at idle! I must admit that with out the resonator the car is much louder, i'll try to post a video soon!

pipes looks nice.....i like the way its tapered with the bumpers. however, i think the video clip doesn't have a good sound quality. Too much background noise. But anyways, its a great mod!

How loud is the exhaust part-throttle?

Thanks for the vid bro, really appreciate it! I love the tips on it, and for that reason alone, I'll probably go with SS. Just curious if SS is carb certified, and if they'll pass emissions? I know Eisenhaus isn't, and I'd hate to have to take it off and put it back on every 2 years. Also, I'm sure the exhaust sounds 10x better with the resonator removed, and whenever you get a chance, I'd love to hear it as well! Do you experience any droning with it?

Thanks again bro. :)

I was originally going to go with the Remus because of price...but I loved the SS tips...I must of been the luckiest person around when I saw the thread for this exhaust for sale 3 hours from my house...I don't know ne thing about the Carb Cert. and in terms of droning...it almost seems that even with the straight pipes on the highway cruising at around a constant 80 the exhaust seems to not be there...unless you gas it...which is a big plus!

With the straight pipes the exhaust burbles when slowing down to a red light. In manual mode you could really make the exhaust burble and pop by accelerating in first and then laying off the gas letting the revs drop...sounds pretty cool I think!

I think I'll have to go with SS then, thanks for your feedback bro.

Now the only debate is whether to remove the resonator or not. ;)

I'll post the video as soon as possible...but it probably won't do it justice!

I actually talked to B&B triflo, and asked if we can get different tip options (I hated those 4" tips), and they said they can put on any tips we choose, as long as we can guarantee they'll fit in the valence. I was thinking of going with 90mm tips like the SS has. And they're a couple hundred less than Eisenhaus and SS.
