Two-tone X5
 

I saw this Alpine White 4.4 with the lower portion of the body and bumpers painted a champagne color. Personally, I think it's not very nice looking, especially when you look at the points where the bumpers meet the black fender trim. To each their own.

It was quite a photo op day. I saw this, a bad faux 4.6is, and a Carrera GT. Luckily I had my digicam. See my other posts for pics of those other sightings.

It was a good car day. I saw a new Bentley sedan and a Z8 too. :thumbup:

A lot of the older RX's have this hideous look with the bottom part of the body being grey if you ordered a lighter color on-top.

my '04 sterling gray looked 2 tone in the right light, below the bsm's would look darker at night... I liked it, but that white x5 looks uh,.... like.... uh...... hmmmmmm how to put this.... ;puke;

yeah, that about sums it up.


(the bad thing is that you can really see how bad an X can look with a bad paint job, doesn't really take much huh? i was surprised at how bad it actually looks with that 2 tone compared to how great it looks with a mono job... )

I like Alpine White X5's but this is tragedy. What happens when this guy shows up as a new member?

The owner probably likes Lexus RX330 and trying to make it look like one. :tsk:

I think the light color combo is kinda puke, but imagine a black version of this mod on a Dark Oxford Green base...could be abit stealthy and aggressive....hmmmmm....
