i've already asked this but didn't get a clear response. In order to get my foglights to match my xenons, what type bulb do i need to get. i have an 01' 3.0. 9006, 9005, H1, H3, H7, H11, H4. thanks

I found my foglight spec from the owner's manual.
I have H11 for the foglight for 06 X5.

The numbers you quoted (H1, H3, H7, H11, H4, etc.) are different types of bulbs, and you need to get the type that is for your specific vehicle. These numbers have nothing to do with how well or even if they match the color of your Xenon's. :tsk:

What you need to do is first figure out the style bulb you need (look in your owners manual) and then find that style bulb in the color you desire.

My 2001 X5 3.0i uses H3 foglights. The owner's manual is wrong re: Fog light bulb (it states H1, but actually our X5 uses H3).

orz.... that makes me wonder...
So, now the best way i believe is to take out our current OEM foglight and see what type of the bulb it is.
