How Did I Do? (used purchase)

After a LOT of research, I found that the problems listed throughout the years, well, ran throughout the years despite of what people stated. The major concerns were electrical system, a/c, and fuel. The electrical system on this car was serviced at 8k miles, and never again. In other words, I bought a first production year (2000). It has 60,xxx miles on it, all service was done, no major service was ever needed, and is EXTREMELY clean.

It is a white 2000 4.4 (obviously) with sport package (19's with new tires and also new brakes), xenons, navigation, cold weather package, moon roof, just about every option, if not every option on the list is included. I The test drive was EXTREMELY smooth, unlike other 2000-2003 4.4 X5's that I have driven (some seemed really rough compared to others). IT's got a bunch of new parts replaced at 46k miles. Thanks for the site, and I look forward to reading MORE!

Here is the only picture I have of it right now, at the dealer (dealers picture).

A great deal on an excellent specimen! Pat yourself on the back. What kind of tires?

btw, I have those same wheels. Those nooks and crannies really collect the brake dust, especially on the front, so it's best to stay on top of keeping those clean.

It's good to NOT hear, "you paid too much", or "you got ripped, you should have looked on the forums". They are pirellis, not sure which model. These wheels will be CAKE compared to wheels that I had on my cobra!

Also, they are by far my favorite wheel that came with the BMW's, and possibly one of my favorite su/av wheels ou tthere.

Probably Scorpion Asymmetricos, all season. I have a set on order myself.

You got a deal because you did your homework. Smart. Post some pics soon.

Nice ride! My 01' has been troublefree for 53K miles. Get some Axxis pads to keep those wheels clean. Enjoy

Were the painted door handles added?? Or was this available on the 4.4 in 2000?? Reason I ask is I have an '01 3.0 and have black handles.
