2001 X5 factory cell phone?

Anybody know what's the part number for 2001 X5 (production date 11/2000) factory cell phone? It doesn't have the original Motorola connector it's some special one.
I know there's 2 types of cell phones CPT 8000 and CPT 9000? Which one is mine?
Couldn't find it on realoem.com
I know it might be absolete but I need to find out which phone fits in.
Thanks

You can't activate those phones anymore because service providers are phasing out that technology....so, you'd be better off getting a bluetooth kit that is completely integrated (and you get the convenience of BT).

Goodluck.

I know that, but I don't really want to spend $600 for that now...
Please, if you have an answer for my question, post it here.
Thanks

8000

Totally useless regardless because all carriers are phasing out the technology associated with both models. You will not find a carrier who will activate the CPT 8000 or 9000 and even if you did it would be eliminated in a few years. The expense related to installing this outdated system would not be worth the trouble. I came to that conclusion several years ago so it goes to say the same holds true today.

AT&T / Cingular However most carriers here in the United States are phasing out the older digital and analogue and going to GSM.

AFAIK - Sprint is the only one right now that will activate these CPT8000 phone, I know because I'm using it right now.

I've been using Cingular,
I have a friend that purchased 745iL a year ago and it came with a Motorola cell phone with BMW logo on it. And it's been working ever since he bought the car. I wanted to connect it to my X, but it had a different connector.
Doesn't the dealer have upgraded version of those phones?
