Lowering

I've owned my 2001 3.0 for a few months and am interested in lowering it a tad. I saw a few items here but it appeared they were for the V8 models.
Any notions?
Thanks

Well i lowered my 05 4.4 sport. air suspension in the rear. put eibachs on the front and the dealership lowered the rear and to this day after 2 alignments and switching the front tires from one side to another i still can not get it to drive down the road straight. It looks great but this pulling to the right is really almost not worth it.

is this alignment issue common?
anyone else lowered having alignment issues?

I called a local wheel tire place who specializes in lowering and they said if the X5 has castor adjustment they can fix it to tract straight and not affect tire wear. Does the X5 have castor adjustment, they said allot of late model cars no longer allow for that adjustment.
